Punjab Police Recruitment 2024: Apply for Jail Warder & Matron Posts By August 20

 

  • The Punjab Government’s Subordinate Service Selection Board is presently recruiting for Jail Warder and Jail Matron positions.
  • The application process is online and will be open until August 20, 2024.
  • Candidates must apply through the official website, sssb.punjab.gov.in.
  • A total of 175 Jail Warder and 4 Jail Matron positions are available.
  • Applicants must have completed 12th grade to be eligible.

 

Punjab Police Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

  • For the Jail Warder position, candidates must have completed 12th grade from a recognized board.
  • For the Jail Matron position, candidates must have passed 12th grade and studied Punjabi (optional) in 10th grade.
  • The age requirements are between 18 and 27 years.
  • Age relaxation will be provided according to state government rules.

 

Physical Ability

  • To be eligible, male candidates need to have a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches and a chest measurement of 33 inches (34.5 inches when expanded).
  • Female candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches and a minimum weight of 50 kg.
