Palanhar Yojana Rajasthan: The word Palanhar itself suggests nurture and upbringing. And this is what the state government of Rajasthan is intended to perform. Under the Palanhar Yojana, the government will take care of orphan children whose parents are either died or don’t prefer to live with them.

Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana 2023
As per the scheme, a sum of Rs 500 will be given monthly up to the age of 5 years in Palanhar. It means Rs 500 will be given for 5 years in Palanhar. Further, the child will receive Rs 1,000 after he gets admission in school till he completes 18.
In the same way, a grant of Rs 2,000 will be given annually (except the widow and kin) per orphan is also made available for necessary work.

July 3 update: Under the Palanhar scheme, a sum of Rs 88 crore will be directly transferred to the Palanhar scheme beneficiaries
July 3, 2023 Update
As per the update, the Rajasthan CM will transfer a fund of Rs 88 crore. The said amount will be directly transferred to the respective bank account of beneficiaries.
According to the Palanhar program, 5 lakh 91 thousand people will be benefitted under the Palanhar Yojana. To support it, the state government has sanctioned over Rs 87 crore.

- The annual income of the foster family should be below Rs.1.20 lakh
- It’s mandatory to send such children to Anganwadi center at 2 years and to school when they complete 6 years
