Short Information

SSC Stenographer 2019-20 exam:-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has again postponed SSC Stenographer 2019-20 exams. As per the official website the Computer Based Exam (CBE) will be now be conducted from November 16-18, 2020.

Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held from May 5-7, 2020. However, it was postponed and was scheduled to be held from September 10 to 12, 2020. The
candidates can now check the details from the official website or follow the link as provided in the table below.

  • Starting Date of Online Application: September 20, 2019
  • Last Date of Online Application: October 18, 2019
  • Last date for making online fee payment: October 18, 2019
  • Revised CBT Exam Date: November 16-18, 2021

Application Fee

  • General/OBC Candidates: 100/-
  • SC/ST Candidates: 0/-
  • Candidates may pay the exam fees by through online mode through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking E-Challan.

Age (As on January 01, 2020)

  • Minimum Age : 18 Years
  • Maximum Age : 27 Years For Grade D
  • Maximum Age : 30 Years For Grade C

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university can apply for the exam.
  • Additional Qualification Stenographer Group D Transcription
  • English : 50 Minutes | Hindi 65 Minutes
  • Stenographer Group C Transcription
  • English : 40 Minutes | Hindi 55 Minutes
