Karnataka Migrant Registration: Do you remember COVID pandemic where hundreds of people lost their lives? The entire period devastated the country for many reasons. Apart from people losing their lives due to COVID-19, many had no option but to stuck to their place. The above initiative was done to help such people directly after the advice of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The portal is called ‘Seva Sindhu‘ portal.

Using the above portal, those stuck in the Karnataka state can register themselves. The above initiative was basically taken to deal with the lockdown phase.

Guidelines to Follow On Return Rules & Regulation

There are some guidelines that you need to follow as you return. These guidelines are given by Ministry of Health affairs:

  • The Karnataka Government has set new rules for interstate passengers
  • Those coming from high risk states like Madhya Pradesh (MP), Rajasthan, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra will be quarantined for 7 days
  • The test will be conducted from 5th to 7th day
  • Those coming from other states will require home quarantine
  • People above 80 years of age and pregnant women will need health experts
  • It’s mandatory to register on Seva Sindhu portal for entry in the state

 

Some Crucial Updates

  • The registration to migrant workers will be made through online portal
  • The registration is done both at inter-district and inter-State level
  • You will get all the info within 2 days of submitting your form online
  • For inter-district travel, the bus is bound to run from 3rd main between 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 PM
