NEET UG, JEE Main Exam Dates: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country, it has become almost impossible for hundreds of people to sustain their day to day life.
In India, the pandemic has started rising and is expected to reach on the peak within a few days or month.
In such a situation, it has become difficult to conduct NEET UG, JEE main exams that are likely to be conducted from the next month.
one of the reasons why the government has to push back the dates of the commencements of the entrance tests for the admission to medical and engineering courses is due to the pressure from the students and parents.
A lot of chaos is currently being built not only to analyse the situation but also to conduct examination. Even if NEET UG, JEE main exams are to be conducted on their scheduled dates, it would become difficult under the current pandemic that most of the students and parents are worried.

At the same time, the government is also to ensure the health of each citizen of the country as well.
For now, the update says that the HRD Ministry is in the consultation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for the postponement of NEET UG exam.
Earlier, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court by some parents to cancel the pending class XII Board exam conducted by CBSE.

Right now, the problem is growing bigger, especially after the dates of the NEET UG JEE main exam dates are approaching fast.
This is the reason why the parents are demanding to postpone the dates of these exams due the ongoing pandemic situation.

NEET UG, JEE Main Exam Dates to be Postponed
On social media, the voice of parents and the students to delay or postpone the NEET UG and JEE main exams is getting louder.
For example, you can find some of the prevailing Twitter hash tags like Studentslivesmatter and #HealthOverNeetJEE.
As per the updates pouring from all directions, hundreds of students have written to NTA (National Testing Agency) that basically conducts the examination to various courses to postpone these exams due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Not only that, you can even find hundreds of tweets in response to the Union Minister for HRD Ramesh Pokhriyal from students and parents to postpone the JEE Main and NEET UG exam.
Currently, JEE (Main) exam is scheduled to be conducted from July 18 to July 23, 2020. On the other hand, NEET UG is currently scheduled to take place on July 26, 2020.
On this, the government looks quite clear. As per the HRD sources, they are likely to take a decision after Tuesday’s SC hearing gets completed.
This is what the spokesperson of the HRD Ministry has to say, The exams are likely to be postponed further but the new dates for the exams will be announced only after reviewing the prevailing situation.”
As per one of the sources from the Ministry reveals, it won’t be possible to conduct examination on the scheduled dates if the institutions remain closed for the months of July and August due to the ongoing covid-19 crisis. The situation won’t be ideal to conduct exams.
As you know, NEET UG exams are mostly conducted in schools and colleges, there will be a need for investigators at all times. In such cases, all these institutions remain closed; the exams will have to be rescheduled.

In the same ways, Riya Chaoubey says while tagging NTA, “You will be responsible for the lives of over 30 lakh students and their parents totaling almost 60 lakhs.”
One of the senior officials of NTA says that currently, only a month is left for the exams. And so, the examination body will wait for the instructions from the MHRD before it’s able to release a statement from their end.
